The multi-award-winning Luther Barnes and his crew are more than ready for this year’s event. Birthed by Mr. “It’s Your Time,” the “velvet-voiced” Barnes puts action in his word and gives back to the community in a big way. Since its inception, most of the gospel industry’s best have traveled to the famed Red Budd Holy Church in Rocky Mount where is dad, the award-winning Bishop F.C. Barnes (Rough Side of the Mountain) is pastor. The 2008 Annual Fall Gospel Classic promises to be one of the best to date.

Commencing October 1^st, continuing thru October 4th., the days will be filled with daily seminars taught by some of the industry‘s finest facilitators, some of the best new artist showcases ever, topped off with nightly services that feature, not only some of the most anointed ministers of The Word, but the vocal ministries of many of the country’s top psalmists.

This is to say a very special thank you to each and everyone of you who shared with me at the 11th Annual North Carolina Fall Gospel Classic which was held at The Red Budd Holy Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina on October 4th - 6th, 2007, where my father, Bishop F. C. Barnes is pastor.

My sincere appreciation goes out to all the ministers, professional artists, showcase artists, musicians, seminar speakers, adjudicators, record company representatives, media representatives, sponsorships, radio and TV stations, announcers, back-stage workers, ushers, vendors, caterers, security team, clean-up team, VIP's and the thousands of gospel music lovers who added your special touch to make everything come together so beautifully. The Lord truly blessed us, and to him we are most grateful.

I especially would like to thank my wife Cynthia, my daughter Bonita, Yvonne Jackson, chairperson, Bishop F. C. Barnes and the Red Budd Holy Church Family, the Fall Classic Committee and Mr. Bill Walden and Roy Barnes (sound and lights) for doing such a spectacular job in hosting and helping everyone to feel welcome and comfortable.
