The "Godfather of Gospel" Rev Timothy Wright, Co-Pastor Betty Wright, and their grandson, Danny Jr. were involved in a very bad accident on Friday night, returning to his home in New York from the AIM convention, held in Detroit Michigan.  Reports say that a driver was traveling on the wrong side of the road and hit them head-on while traveling through Pennsylvania.  As a result, Co-Pastor Betty Wright was killed instantly.  Rev Wright is in guarded condition, suffering from several broken bones, a broken leg, punctured lung, and fractured skull, and his grandson in very critical condition. 

UPDATE: Early Sunday morning, Danny Jr was called home to be with the Lord. 

While the news circulated among the community of the accident, a call from Detroit informed us that Bishop Charles Craig of the legendary Craig Brothers suffered a massive heart attack and died suddenly this morning.  Bishop Craig was one of the true founders of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, working by the side of its founder Rev James Cleveland,  He served on the GMWA Board of Directors and was in charge of the Nurses, Ushers, and Security guilds of the convention. He and his brother James Linsey formed one of gospel's premier male duo groups, The Craig Brothers. 

Please keep the Wright and Craig families in your thoughts and prayers, Rev Wright's Grace Tabernacle church family in Brooklyn, New York, and Rev Craig's Craig Memorial Tabernacle church family in Detroit, Michagan.  Both situations sincerly need your immediate prayers.
