FAITH UNDER FIRE AUTHOR TAKES HER MESSAGE TO CHURCH

It's not just the down low--it's deadly! Lies and deceit are killing black women at epidemic proportions and one author--Dr. LaJoyce Brookshire--is crusading around the country to help put a stop to it.

Although African Americans make up less than 13% of the U.S. population, they accounted for 49% of new HIV/AIDS diagnoses in the most recent data. The Center for Disease Control has called it a crisis.

But African American women--heterosexual African-American women, many of whom thought they were in committed relationships--account for 66% of all HIV/AIDS diagnosis.

There is an epidemic and LaJoyce Brookshire has made it her mission, literally, to spread the word, hitting home with her 50-city church tour.

In Faith Under Fire, her true story of marrying a man with AIDS, who didn't bother to tell her he had the disease, LaJoyce talks about how she survived. Her story is not only an inspiration, but also a must-read for anyone seeking answers in their relationships.
