The newly launced DP Muzik Group proudly releases the newest project from three-time Grammy Award nominee. Dottie Peoples, three-time Grammy Award nominee and a multiple Stellar Award winner, launched her new label, DP Muzik Group, and released her newest CD, "Do It!" The project is set to be in stores and online Tuesday, September 16, 2008.

DP Muzik Group is the new home of all of Dottie People's future recordings starting with "Do It!" It is the label's debut CD and the next installment to her ever-growing roster of great Gospel recordings. The label's music will be distributed by Comin' Atcha Distribution via Sony Red and Provident-Integrity Distribution.

At the helm of the production, as for all her CDs, is Ms. Peoples. With a blueprint from her previous successes, Peoples brought forth not just her traditional "Dottie" style, which earned her the title "Songbird of The South," but also a fresh new inspirational take on her classic sound that's sure to broaden the scope of the multi-talented singer.

The twelve-song masterpiece is a stunning collection of some of Peoples' best work ever. The title cut and first single, "Do It!," captures the journey she has been on as a visionary entrepreneur and label head, celebrated artist, insightful songwriter, consummate producer and anointed minister. It is currently climbing the Gospel radio chart, debuting at #26 within the first month. Another cut, the crowd-pleasing "Without The Cross" is a testament to the essence of faith. Dottie's sister, Mathilda "Tillie" Ross is memorialized in the emotional tribute "It's Not Goodbye, But See You Later." "There You Are" and "I'm Better" are two flagship tracks, familiar in style, yet groundbreaking in flair and creativity.
