A “live” CD/DVD recording will produce the next installment in the popular, award-winning “Singing The Old Time Way” - Volume III series, a compilation celebrating the music of the African-American church
Memphis, TN - On Saturday, February 23, 2008, all roads lead to The Temple of Deliverance C.O.G.I.C. in Memphis for the “live” CD/DVD recording of “Singing The Old Time Way”-Volume III.
Birthed by the late Bishop G. E. Patterson in 1997, the first two volumes garnered numerous awards and brought the Memphis-based Podium Records its first Stellar Award. The recording is presented by Podium Records in conjunction with Bountiful Blessings, Inc and will feature the ministries of some of the nation’s brightest contributors in the spoken Word, as well as a cache’ of award-winning psalmists.
Confirmed participants include: Bishop Paul Morton, Dottie Peoples, Rev. Timothy Wright, Evangelist Beverly Crawford, Pastor Rance Allen, Bishop Walter Hawkins, Pastor Marvin Winans, Pastor Frank Ray, Billy River’s Angelic Voices of Faith, Bishop Larry Trotter, Ruby Terry, Rev. Andrew Cheairs, Pastor Willie Campbell, Tiffany Tyson, Stephanie Bolton, Bishop Albert Jamison, Rev. Ronnie Strong, and Bishop Edward Stephens, to name a few. The legendary Edwin Hawkins and the organist extraordinaire Moses Tyson Jr. will share the producer honors.
